So it’s Friday, and I clicked on our really cool “Events” tab here at Sacramento Metroblog. I confess, the entry for Lambtown on 7/29 caught my eye. Visions of cute little lambs jumping over fences before drifting off to sleep…hmmm, is that what this is all about?

Why no. Where there’s a festival, there’s food to be had. It’s not just “peartastic” like the Courtland gig that you read about earlier….it’s lamb-o-licious. You too can have a fab lambchop while hearing the sounds of 60s punk rock bleating (couldn’t help it) through the speakers. And if you have a great lamb-smackin’ recipe, enter in the cookoff! (Just don’t call your sweetheart “lambkins” or “lambiepie” because it might be taken literally!!)

And if I can’t make too many fun puns…check out the official site. They tell you themselves “Ewe wool love it!” and that’s just plain baaaaaa-d.
