Wheel As Still As The Air
With the delta breeze continuing its holiday, there was no break in the heat down by the river. Having been raised by the ocean, I fear I will always suffer from an natural discomfort being by any body of water that doesn’t cool things down. As with most places along the Old Town waterfront, the Delta King offered less than effective air conditioning, but nice views, nonetheless. Despite having to all but lay down on the railing air vents in the Delta Lounge, we still enjoyed a few drinks will listening to the live music which was, I believe, provided by Doug Pauley and Maleva Steiert (the July schedule isn’t online, but the photo looks accurate).

We are absolutely MELTING over here - it’s crazy… sooooo hot.
