If you’re tired of clicking from channel to channel in the evening looking for something worthwhile to watch, why not take a class at SCC? Don’t tell me you don’t have time–you had enough time to watch your TIVO‘ed soap operas, you can take a class and expand your brain. Or at least keep it from atrophying.

It’s a simple process to enroll–you can do it all online. You can even take your classes on line–so why even leave your home? Don’t be fooled by all the cute young things on the web pages–there a lot of grizzled gray haired folks like myself “keeping young” by learning something new. The possibilities are really almost endless.

Introduction to Astrobiology–study the history of the search for life outside of Earth. (Trekkies, this is for you!!)
Beginning Arabic class–your government needs YOU to give it better intelligence in the war against terrorism. (PSA: Don’t forget to vote in November!)
Fitness…any kind of class…aerobics, kickboxing, weight training, you name it. Where else can you work out for 26 bucks for a whole three months? For that and the cost of a combination lock, you can get your own locker at the SCC gym. Oh, and if you need motivation to work out, here’s a really scary picture of Gov. Schwarzenegger. If that doesn’t get you off the couch and doing sit-ups, I don’t know what will.
