Gaesorn is Back!!
If you have not yet had a chance to go by the new Gaesorn, what the heck are you waiting for???? So, here’s the deal…Gaesorn was a little Thai restaurant on the corner of 12th and K in downtown Sacramento. It is the most AWESOME Thai food EVER!!! The city was doing construction on that very area so they were forced to close…they re-opened on Fulton and Marconi, near the Arden Fair Mall. After much work with the city, they found a new downtown home on at 1015 9th Street (that’s on 9th Street between J and K)…Now both restaurants are up and running and the food is as good as ever…YUM!!! You have to start with the Golden Bags (cream cheese wontons) and then move onto the Drunken Noodles (I always get it spicy with chicken) and the sweet-chile toasted fried rice) and one of the awesome curries (panang is the best)…they are SO good…there’s a lot of other stuff on the menu, but I’m not a real restaurant critic, and only know what I like… be sure to go by and say HI to Jerry, the restaurant’s owner and tell him Amanda sent you…we became buds since I came in so much.
They have VERY reasonable lunch prices (I think 6 or 7 bucks a plate) and the dinner is only about 8 or 9 bucks an item. Well worth it…believe me!!!
