So, like every other Friday night, I ventured into Simon’s Restaurant and Bar (or more appropriately Bar and Restuarant). I stole a fortune cookie off a nearby table and was DELIGHTED that I actually got a fortune…it said “A PLEASANT SURPRISE IS IN STORE FOR YOU THIS EVENING.” Wow…I finally got a fortune in my fortune cookie…the problem was that it didn’t actually come true…unless the surprise was that I actually got a fotune in the cookie instead of some nice pithy insprirational quote…yes, that WAS a surprise…
