As readers know, this site is 100% dedicated to Sacramento-related content. However, from time to time, our being part of this network of 49 world-wide cities means we have writer-friends who are on the front lines of breaking news. It’s both good and sad that when bad news breaks, we seem more able to cover it than many other outlets.
