Keeping up with the Joneses

Long-time midtown landmark Harv’s Carwash is now Harv’s Metro Carwash. So are they trying to update their image, or are they trying to keep up with their fancy-pants neighbors?

    I TOTALLY saw this too and thought they were trying to go upscale to fit in too! Too funny!!

    I *think* they got bought out so Harv has nothing to do with Harv’s anymore (if he ever did). I, for one, am sad that I didn’t get a chance to photograph the old, decidedly cooler sign, before they but in this modern marvel.

    Booooo!

    Times, they are a changin’. I can remember the car wash/ice cream shop that was there before Harvs.

    That sign is so Web 2.0.

    I like the new sign. It might mean that they are staying for a while. I heard that the lot was slated for development. I think a good carwash in Midtown is an asset that we should hang on to.

    I agree that having Harv’s there is a good thing. But why swap actual retro for faux retro? I still say boo!
