Because winging it is funny

Tired of serialized crime procedurals on TV? Got nothing to do now that Lost is taking 13 weeks off? Wondering where to find some comedy on Wednesday nights until 30 Rock figures out if it can be funny or not? You might want to check out the Sacramento Comedy Spot’s new Improv Night at the Capitol Garage.

Made more famous by shows like “Whose Line Is It Anyway?,” improv is fun, fast-paced, and never the same from show-to-show. By the way, if you’d like to be part of the fun before the show, the troupe offers Improv Jam Sessions beforehand at its Broadway studio. Learn the art and appreciate the performance more – and get in some much-needed playtime as well. Do you play anymore? You probably don’t. Do it under the guise of art and get rid of that stress for less than the cost of a martini. Or six.

Improv at the Capitol Garage 1500 K Street, Sacramento, CA 95814 $5.00 at the Door. Wednesdays at 9:00PM.
