It’s that edgy, itchy “Spring has Sprung” feeling. People are out and about, the flowers have popped open, and things can get a little, well, wild.

Take the big news of yesterday: Dog neglecter Ron Artest arrested for domestic violence. Of course, you could say Mr. Artest has a long history of being a little too aggressive. A colleague read us a list of Artest’s spotty history yesterday. I hope Artest is not considered a role model for kids. Yeah, maybe he can play basketball, but he sure isn’t someone I’d want my kid to grow up to be–

Meanwhile, not far from Sac City this morning, a driver decided he just didn’t want to stop. Ran into a fence and a few parked cars (hope it wasn’t YOUR car he hit).
