The Moon is Made of Smoked Gouda

Waking at the ungodly hour of 2:52am, we staggered outside hoping to catch a glimpse of the moon in total eclipse, fairly certain that it would be blocked by buildings and trees. Lo and behold, there it was, perfectly poised above our complex, easily viewed from our deck. We caught it just as the last bits of white vanished from view - taken over by a Mars-like blush. After doing my best to steady my sleepy hand and catch a few shots, we stumbled back to bed.

Hey Christina. What’s the matter? You couldn’t take the heat over your inane pit bull post. You should do a little research and you will learn the difference between bad dog breeds and bad owners. How about a few examples of pit bulls: Helen Keller’s dog, Petie of the Little Rascals, Sgt. Stubby, the WWII hero…
A pit bull that has not been abused or purposely bred for a bad temperament is actually one of the best playmates for children of all the dog breeds - I am speaking from experience. I have also done actual research. If you do the same you will find the bite rate for other breeds to be much higher. you will also find a correlation between domestic violence, child abuse and dog bites reported at an address.

Dear Readers - The above comment, I believe, relates to a post I made over two years ago on Metroblogging San Francisco after a pit bull mauled a small child. After a far shorter time than two years, posts on the MB sites no longer accept comments. This is to combat spammers. The above commenter on this wholly unrelated post, seems to think comments were shut off because of the overwhelming number of ignorant, insipid comments such as hers. While it would have been nice, alas, that is not our way here on the MB sites.

Dear Amberly Morgan - get over yourself and move on. And learn to read.
