And here I thought it was a fugitive.

About 1:30 in the morning, I was awakened by a helicopter circling…RIGHT over my house. I had the window open, and it sounded like the whirly-bird was going to land on our (tiny) backyard. The spotlight was on as well. I thought someone was running along the canal–maybe a fugitive.

Come to find out, they were “illuminating” a traffic accident that resulted in a fatality.

I wish people would slow down, pay attention, and drive like they have something worth living for.

I heart the ghetto bird. It always makes me feel like I should be blasting “Bad Boys” on my stereo, even if it is just for a traffic accident. I picture grainy video of hoodied hoodlums vaulting fences while the eye in the sky lets the viewer at home know the perp is completely surrounded by the 5-0.

Time to install dual panes, Ursula!

It’s funny when the bird circles the neighborhood yelling out through its bull horn that everyone should stay inside and lock their doors. Which, of course, draws everyone outside their homes to listen to the message as the bird circles 25 blocks blaring the barely audible message.
