National Frozen Yogurt Day at Yogurtland

Story Time for the Young

StoryTime2Introducing the love of reading for children (Ages 2-5). The California State Railroad Museum every Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the East Theater. Museum volunteers will read a different railroad-related book. Afterwards the youngsters can visit the Museum with their parent(s).

Rose Pruning Classes

roseIt would be nice if we could plant roses that need no pruning at all, but no; thus, rose pruning classes. The Historic Rose Garden will have two pruning workshops Saturday, January 14 at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm.

The 9:00 am class will focus on pruning climbing roses. The 1 pm class will show techniques for pruning and rehabilitating mature plants. Admission is a $10 donation.
