Gold Rush Days
Gold Rush Days – Sacramento’s heritage celebration – Labor Day Weekend 2017.
Transforming Sacramento’s historic district into the Gold Rush era of the 1850s. With costumed performers taking on the roles of celebrities, personalities and just plain folks. Bluegrass pickers and old-time musicians will perform on several stages.
Visit Tent City: A recreation of town life in early Sacramento City where you can visit saloons, a gambling tent, doctors, dentists, and even an undertaker. Also in Tent City available for purchase: fish & chips, roasted corn on the cob, fresh-made kettle korn, homemade sarsaparilla, root beer, draft ale, local wines.
Artisan Alley: Tinsmiths, Blacksmiths, Lace makers and other artisans.
There will also be historic reenactments of Sacramento’s legendary history.
Gold Rush Days Events start on Saturday (Sept. 2) and go until Monday (Sept. 4).

: The district of Old Sacramento is shut down to vehicle traffic during Gold Rush Days, please use the following parking garages, both garages take cash and credit:
Old Sacramento Garage – 2nd & I Street (entrance off I Street)
Tower Bridge Garage – At Neasham Circle (entrance off Capitol Mall)
