Tentopolis Tour

Two friends and I went on a running tour of Tentopolis (it’s now way too big to be merely a tent city–there is a core, and several distinct suburbs) on Friday afternoon.  Mr. B took many pictures, and has woven them into a narrative which gives another perspective from RV Scheide and Oprah.   It’s worth taking a look, and when I went through today, even more tents had sprung up over the weekend, and the owner of the Taj Mahomeless had made another big capital improvement, installing a nicely-framed windbreak on the west side of his property.

In a sign of hope, three speeding fixers blew by me while I was clunking along on my 21-speed city bike.  The second called out, “Passing left!”  Hooray for civility!
